The Life-Slide Story
Sixteen years ago, the day before Thanksgiving, Dave and Kathi Bambrick learned about two grandparents and their 3 grandchildren who all perished in a home fire. Firefighters found the family in a closet on the second floor. That started them thinking, why is there nothing that can help people escape a fire from the second floor of their homes?
Most fire-related deaths occur on the second floor, and children and senior adults are at the highest risk. Determined to change these heartbreaking statistics, Dave and Kathi invented Life-Slide.
